Unleashing Studio Potential: Embracing the Power of Cycles 🔄

The studio game is like a wild beast with its own set of rules. Many believe that following rigid playbooks is the key to success, but I invite you to challenge that notion. Great tools are essential, but they’re crafted along the way, not handed to you on a silver platter.

Through our studio growth journey, I’ve learned that setting the flywheel in motion is crucial. Working on the venture-building cycles, learning from successes and setbacks, and improving the stage-gate model is the way to thrive. I’ve put my thoughts into writing on this in my latest article and reliazed this is true for most things in life.

Together, we'll unlock strategies and insights to propel your studio's success. Join us as we navigate the dynamic landscape of the studio game, building ventures that leave a lasting impact.

From our universe 🪐

On the studio side 🌌

  • Let’s look back on a successful edition of our Builders Investor House. We hosted a fireside chat with Graciella van Vliet, Co-Founder at Closure and Jochem.Ai (part of Closure). We sat together with investors and founders of our ventures to talk about the possibilities of AI for its potential growth. Make sure to check out the recap of the Builders Investor House here.

  • Also, we are happy to announce our new partner for the Studio Fundraise Map. Vault Fund decided to partner up with us to work on this initiative together. We are curious about what this will bring us in the future. A call for all investors and startup studios, make sure to sign up to get access to the map now. Click here to sign up.

  • Join us in welcoming Eelco, our newest puzzle piece of the team. With an impressive background in product design, branding, and visual innovation, he brings invaluable expertise as our Design Lead. He is excited to bring our ventures and the product to the next level.

At our ventures 🚀

  • Over at Obeyo, we created a new product demo explaining even better to potential customers what Obeyo is about and how our product works. Curios to see how we revolutionize tenant experience? You can view it here.

  • At Noon, we also have some exciting updates. We launched Noon on product hunt and got a lot of interaction and response. This was a moment of valuable feedback and appreciation for Noon. To keep the momentum going, don't forget to upvote Noon there yourself as well. You can vote here.

  • Also, we launched a product feature update newsletter. This newsletter entails all the latest product features that we are currently working on. Want to receive these updates as well? Make sure to subscribe to the newsletter here.

What we’re following 👀

  • AI is everywhere. It was the theme of our latest investor house and leads to loads of interesting discussion. To stay updated on the transformative potential AI, there is a must read by Bill Gates. He highlights how specialised AI models enhance productivity and improve tasks. Gates emphasizes the need to balance opportunities and responsibilities in harnessing the benefits of AI in the Age of AI. Read the article here.

  • Opening as a leader can be difficult and vulnerable, there is however a lot of value found there. Saul Johnson, CTO of Noon, opens up and wrote an interesting piece on this topic. The article provides some practical tips on how to start this journey. Read it here.

  • Ensuring hypergrowth, it is all about keeping momentum. In order to do this it is important to set the studio flywheel in motion. I wrote an article about this with some interesting insights. Make sure to check it out.
